This covers important information you should review before purchasing a ticket to this private event.
Minimum Age
This is an adults only event. You must be 18+ years of age AND be ‘legally competent’ (mentally and legally able to consent) to attend. You will need to provide a state or federally issued photo id as proof of age during registration.
Agreements
Please read the agreements. You will be expected to abide by them and will have to sign a paper copy at registration.
Ticket Purchases
The purchase is non-refundable. If you have any questions or concerns, contact us before purchasing a ticket.
A ticket can be transferred once and must be done by contacting the event organization. While we appreciate that unexpected events do occur, we also need to keep the prices down and the process simple.
Some events have day passes ‘day passes’ and weekend passes, both of which can be purchased on the ticketing system prior to the sales cut-off date. No tickets can be purchased at the event.
The event will be limited to 100 tickets/attendees.
Special Needs or Handicaps
This venue is not developed. Camping and activities will be in areas that will pose a challenge for people with mobility or vision challenges. If you are handicapped and want to see if this event will work for you, please contact us before making a purchase. We can arrange for a preview of the location beforehand so you can make a more informed decision on if you will be able to participate.
Expect that there will be walking involved, the ground is not paved or level, wildlife and nature create trip hazards, and there are sudden drop offs in various locations on the property, all of which could pose the risk of serious injury or death. Please do not take this warning lightly.
If you have other concerns or special needs, please contact us prior to purchasing a ticket. We will try to answer your concerns as quickly as possible so you can make an informed decision.
We have a ‘no animals’ policy for events. This includes service animals. This restriction is for safety reasons and we are truly sorry if this is an inconvenience. If you require a service animal and would like to visit the ranch not during a big event, contact us and we will see if it can be arranged. We do not want to put you or your companion animal at risk.
This is Dry Camping / Boondocking
The term ‘dry camping’ or ‘boondocking’ means that there is no power or running water at the primary location where the event will be held. Bring what you need and you take what your brought with you when you leave.
There is power located on the property and a water source, both of which are located about 500 feet away from the events main location. If you need to recharge a CPAP machine, that is where the power will be located.
If you wish to get potable water on site, be aware that it is very soft well water. This means that it is drinkable but has minerals in it that you may not be used to. If you find that you have digestive issues when you drink water while traveling, you should bring drinking water that you are used to consuming.
Cooking and Fires
For safety and comfort, please only bring gas powered cooking equipment. These have never been restricted during a fire ban and pose a much lower risk of an unexpected fire.
It is not uncommon for the county to enact fire bans in the summer time. There are different degrees of fire bans from absolutely no fires, BBQs, torches, etc, to only small recreational bonfires. Even during the most restrictive fire ban, gas fueled cooking appliances have been permitted.
One of the biggest risks during summer campouts, not just at this venue but everywhere, is the risk of a forest fire. We ask that you do not create unnecessary fire risks and observer safety requirements.
Campers, RVs and Trailers
There is ample space to park campers, trailers and RVs on the property. Some locations are more suitable for some kinds of equipment. Most will require some walking to get to the main activities and camping areas. Contact us if you would like to preview the areas before purchasing a ticket.
The use of generators will be permitted during some hours providing the generators are of a quiet type and do not create a bad experience for others. Solar panels are the power option of choice if you have them.
There are no hook-ups. This is dry camping.
Prohibited
The follow is a partial list of things that are prohibited at this event. This list is meant to help avoid issues and create a safe environment:
- Any activity that involves paying for services of people in the sex industry.
- Illegal drugs or activities.
- Firearms/weapons
- Nudity, sexual acts or BDSM in areas observable by the public.
The camping and activities areas were specifically chosen to provide the most freedom to be yourself. They are secluded. Most of the property will be open for camping, but not all areas on the property are sheltered from the public. If you happen to be in an open area, please enjoy it but also recognize that you need to cover up.
Quiet Hours and Noise Control
Between 10pm and 9am, you will need to keep the noise level low. This isn’t just being considerate, its the law across most counties in the state.
Even when it is not in the quiet hours, please be considerate about making noise that would draw undue attention. Releasing a blood curdling scream would clearly be grounds for complaints to the local law enforcement agency and would give them justification to investigate the source. Keep that in mind.
Whip Cracking
The ranch offers a ton of space to crack even the longest of whips. Out of respect, we ask that if you are going to crack a whip, please be considerate and not do it too close to others.
One other consideration is that a whip can sound a lot like a gun shot. This is important to understand because the county has rules about shooting guns from dusk to dawn. We don’t want to have the neighbors calling law enforcement thinking that guns are being fired outside of the allowable hours, which are not the same as ‘quiet hours’. If in doubt, please error on the side of caution and refrain from cracking your whips.
